The purpose of this course is to provide students with basic skills in computing, concept of nursing informatics and vocabulary for nursing informatics. Subsequently, the various web tools used in information technology, system integration and concept of intra-operability will be discussed. Furthermore, management and change processes in nursing informatics as well as contemporary issues in information technology and policies in Ghana among others will also be discussed.
