OBJECTIVES
This course gives the student basic introduction to the study of the nature and handling of bacteria.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to
1. Describe the history of microbiology, emphasizing on bacteriology
2. Explain how contagion is acquired
3. Describe the morphological nature of bacteria, prokaryotes and bacteria structure
4. Explain the principles of sterilization and disinfection, describing the factors affecting it
